What will be sold at the booth?

  • UBC Chinatown will be selling copies of the newly launched “Journeys of Hope: Challenging Discrimination and Building on Vancouver Chinatown’s Legacies.
  • A Degree of Justice” is a yearbook celebrating the 76 honorary Japanese-Canadian graduates who were wrongfully expelled from campus in 1942.
  • All Our Father’s Relations,” an award-winning documentary tells the story of the Grant siblings who journey from Vancouver to China in an attempt to rediscover their father’s roots and better understand his fractured relationship with their Musqueam mother. Raised primarily in the traditions of the Musqueam people, the Grant family and their story reveal the shared struggles of migrants and Aboriginal peoples today and in the past.
